Circuit Training Exercises

Circuit Training:

  • Type of exercise strategy that requires a person to perform multiple exercises during a short amount of time
  • These exercises have a wide range of health benefits, from Upper Body, Lower Body, and Core Muscular endurance to Cardiovasular Endurance and Flexibility
Exercises Include:

  • Push ups
  • Sit Ups
  • Body Folds
  • Jumping Jacks
  • Toe Touches
  • Bicycle Kicks
  • And many more!
 

 Planks

Muscle Group:

  • Abdominals / Obliques  (Core and Stomach Muscles)

 

How to do I perform this exercise?

  • Only your forearms, elbows and toes can touch the ground
  • Lift your stomach, hips and legs parallel (flat) off of the ground
  • Hold in that position for 10-15 seconds

    • Lay on your back with your knees bent and feel flat on the ground
    • Lift your stomach and hips off of the ground

      • Lower Back Muscles

      How to do I perform this exercise?

      • Lay on your back
      • Lift your arms and legs as high off of the ground
      • Hold in that position for 10-15 seconds
